I began speaking out as a concerned resident and specifically blogging over the past few years. Ever since, I have not only met more neighbors, but I also receive a lot of messages and some anonymous snail mail or things shoved in my door. I have some of these neighborly relationships via fb messenger or through text and haven't even met everyone by face. Sometimes, I wonder if I am standing with them somewhere in town and I don't even know it.
This week, we have seen a lot of information! I feel it is important to piece it all together in one place.
Back in August, it was announced in the local paper that Larry Fox was not running for re- election. Many of you may think that my concerns are over now and I should just move on, but that's what I need to clarify. We have had some major problems in this town and they don't just go away because Larry isn't running. They go away when the people come together and demand to see our money and to work together. Let me remind us all that Larry Fox was a "new name" when he ran for Mayor in 2020, and look where it got us. We must connect the dots and see what questions remain unanswered. Pay attention to who knows the facts and SHARES the facts, and check out the information...
For simplicity, let me try to just offer you a list:
In August, I received a text on the deadline date for candidates to file their paperwork to run for office. The text is pictured here with its messaging "looks like the mayor is holding court with his buddies.." You can see in the pictures, who was on Larry Fox's porch with "a box of mailers and a lawn sign". Again, people send me many pics, letters, etc, because of the blog you are reading right now. Can we afford any more Larry Fox? or his chosen candidates??
In the same month,(August) Larry Fox announced that he wasn't running for reelection.
Also in August, the NJ Comptroller's office requested 22 items from the Borough of Bradley Beach. The NJ Comptroller is a state entity, established in 2008. It is tasked with examining all aspects of government expenditures, including reviewing public contracts, auditing finances, and evaluating the performance of programs. They also investigate municipalities for a variety of issues, including fraud, waste, and abuse in government spending. This news just came out today. See article link below:

Fox's leadership has created the biggest mess we've seen in a long time (And I am afraid he is endorsing Psiuk and Warnet to follow his lead because their campaigns reflect similar behaviors - smears, lies and disparaging of residents):
Fox held the prosecutor report from the Council and Residents regarding former police chief Leonard Guida. From app.com - ("He ridiculed employees, sometimes in front of borough residents, hurled expletives at staff, physically accosted a few officers, spit on one and he showed up drunk at a crash scene, authorities said.
The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office made public a laundry list of infractions of departmental rules and regulations Friday committed by now-retired Bradley Beach Police Chief Leonard Guida. Guida was recently shown on police body camera footage starting a fight with a sergeant in the department during a motor vehicle crash in November.") LACK OF TRANSPARENCY
Fox created the largest tax increases Bradley Beach has seen in at least a decade. LACK OF TRANSPARENCY, OVERSPENDING, DRAINED OUR SAVINGS (SURPLUS)
Fox poisoned the town with political tactics like the church property to support his own candidates in the 2022 council election. SMEAR TACTICS AND LIES
Fox has stalled contract negotiations for way too long (almost 2 years) on many hardworking Borough employees which includes, DPW, Dispatch, Clerical and Court Personnel without any progress. LACK OF TRANSPARENCY, FINANCIAL CONCERNS, POOR PROFESSIONAL DECISIONS
Fox ignored our town laws for inserting Meredith DeMarco for Borough Administrator making a full time salary, while we have a resident volunteer, Greg Fehrenbach doing the job. NOT FOLLOWING OUR TOWN ORDINANCES AND COLLUDING
Fox has been late on filing Annual Financial Statements and Audits during his term.
LACK OF TRANSPARENCY AND MATERIAL MISSTATEMENTS (POINTS TO FRAUD)
THE LIST GOES ON...
Warnet has been endorsed by Larry Fox on social media and has contributed to his campaign. See pics below:
We know Larry Fox had both Psiuk and Warnet on his porch, but what we don't know is if Larry Fox also contributed to Psiuk's campaign. What we also do know is that the R-1 form for Mr. Psiuk to submit for campaign donations, IS NOT LISTED on the state website, meaning it was not filed on time. All other 3 candidates have met the deadline required to post their campaign contributions on October 7th. See pics below:
Bradley Beach deserves clarity after all of this nonsense with our money. This is not an us vs. them. Yes, I know I am on my blog post with my opinions, but I do my best to share facts as to why I feel any certain way. There is no need to ridicule anyone who is vocal asking questions and searching for the truth. It is when the truth is ugly, that the surrounding people need to understand facts before judging. And I do this because it is my money and your money together. We need to do this together because we all hold shares here to function in a way that best suits everyone!
Haven't we seen enough to clearly understand the ties here? There are still so many questions: What about the late library audits and no meeting minutes for years? What about the ties to developers and trying to sell off our public land in secret meetings? What about the co-mingling of funds with the beach money? What about the dipping into the tourism trust account? What about the 26 unreconciled bank accounts? What about the "no responsive records" for covid funds?
I cannot stress enough the importance of voting Al Gubitosi for Mayor. He has proven his level of expertise that this Borough is in dire need of. Ever since he has stood up for our concerns, especially financial ones, he has had a target on his back. I also encourage voting for Shana Greenblatt for Council. She is the addition we need for the transparency our council always works so hard to attain. The old guard of Bradley Beach will continue to taint, gaslight, and straight up lie about anyone who wants full transparency of our money. If you disagree with me, and want to gossip about why I am so wrong, please prove it. Prove that I am wrong, I genuinely welcome it. I stand by any errors and I am never afraid to say that I am wrong. I am trying to find unity and togetherness through TRUTH. Otherwise we get nowhere if you choose to fight facts. Facts are facts. I am not here to pick at anyone, but I will most definitely call out shady behavior; again for the purpose of what this entire town deserves. Once we are all on the side of wanting the facts and not jaded by simply disliking someone, will we then find common ground. Stand for what is right, not just for who you like. Reminder for you all - my early days as an involved resident led me to Larry Fox. He even has my phone number and we met in person, established a kind and civil relationship. Then when he lied to me, and I followed through, it led me to the truth. I shared it with the public and I will continue to follow the principles of truth. Most people stop and don't follow through and that's the problem. We have learned to trust too much. It is a lot of work to find your own facts when the lies run the show. Trust your gut and keep trekking. The Bradley Beachers for truth continue to grow. Let's do this! We all deserve it!
See you in the Sand...bringing peace and truth on a full moon evening.
Thank you for this thoughtful, well researched and concise summary of the past four years. I love how you express yourself and your sincerity is palpable. It’s clear your heart is in the right place and you only want what is best for the community as a whole. As crazy as it sounds, Larry Fox may be a gift—because, his leadership has been so poor it has brought residents who have never been involved before to start paying attention and attending meetings, like I have. Through this process I have made friends and met neighbors I would never have, otherwise. So, for that I am grateful. Once Al Gubitosi and Shana Greenblatt are elected, it is time for us to…
